'The Originals' Season 2 News: Joseph Morgan Reveals Whether He'd Prefer To Be A Vampire Or Werewolf, Dishes On His 'Bestial' Side [VIDEO]
Joseph Morgan may play a hybrid Klaus Mikaelson on The CW's The Originals, but this week the actor revealed which he'd prefer if he had to pick being either a vampire or a werewolf.

"I prefer the bestial side," admitted Morgan, who said he'd prefer to be a werewolf over a vampire in an interview with People on Monday (featured below).
With only a minute on the clock, People forced Morgan to go with his gut as he answered a series of personal questions.
As for the question fans most frequently ask him, the actor admitted to hearing two: Will you bite me? and if your character could be with someone romantically, who would it be?

Unfortunately for fans, the actor shoots down both the request and the question. "I think he's a bit of a loner to be honest," he said of Klaus, though Morgan himself seems to be just the opposite. Over the summer he married actress Persia White, who he originally met on the set of The Vampire Diaries.
When pressed to reveal the "best" part about the wedding, the actor nearly giggled. "Marrying her, of course," he laughed earnestly. "And the first dance, that was pretty great."
Since Morgan plays a hybrid on The CW, he is subject to all kinds of biting when it comes to both his vampire side and his inner werewolf. So of course People asked Morgan which celebrity he thought had the most sweet tasting blood. The actor didn't hesitate in choosing and in fact made his decision sound so logical that he'll likely have fans agreeing. "The M&M guys…" he explained, "Because they are made of chocolate."
For his fifth and final question, Morgan was asked if he had any guilty pleasures. The confidence he'd shown in answering all the previous questions waned as he struggled to come up with an answer. "It's not reality TV," he insisted, only to then reconsider. "it might be reality TV… it's not reality TV."
"I got [into] watching something," he revealed at last. "It was like The Biggest Loser I think, and I got so emotionally invested in this girl's journey I kind of had to watch the rest of it 'cause I needed to know what happened."
Klaus fans might find themselves feeling the same way after The Originals mid-season finale last week, with Rebekah (Claire Holt) trapped in an unknown witch's body and baby Hope exposed to the wrath of Mikael (Sebastian) as he searches to murder his own son.
The Originals returns on The CW to continue with its second season Monday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
