‘The Voice’ Season 7 Winner Definitive Ranking Of Craig Wayne Boyd’s Performances, Including A Couple Non-Competition Ones [VIDEOS]
Craig Wayne Boyd on Tuesday was crowned Season 7's winner so in honor of his win we've ranked all of his performances, including a couple non-competition ones on The Voice.
'The Voice's Season 7 Best 10 Performances, Including Matt McAndrew's 'Wasted Love'
First up is his winner's performance of his original song, My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face, which Blake Shelton penned. It was such a monumental moment.
In second place is Boyd's Blind Audition, which got two chairs to turn: Shelton's and Pharrell Williams'. His performance of The Whiskey Ain't Workin' is just the foundation of what brought him to being crowned the victor.
Third on our list is his killer performance of Sweet Home Alabama with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Boyd seemed totally in his element with the rock band.
In fourth place is Boyd's finals' performance of In Pictures. Gwen Stefani told him, "I am so happy for you, if you win or you don't win...you've already won."
Then his finals' performance of My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face is fifth since his coach told him, "That song was meant for you. It found its way to you."
His duet performance with Shelton of Boots On is in the sixth spot. They embody such an adorable bromance on stage together. Maybe they'll eventually tour together.
His Battle Round performance of Wave on Wave against his teammate James David Carter is up next on our list in the seventh slot. Boyd may have lost the battle, but Stefani stole him, which allowed him to continue his journey on the show.
At no. 8 on our list is his Knockout Round performance against his Team Gwen teammate Anita Antoinette (she sang Rude). Can't You See may have not been his strongest performance, but it did get him stolen once more and put him rightfully back on Team Blake.
In the ninth slot is his Some Kind of Wonderful performance. It is what got him into the Top 12 after all.
His Top 12 performance of You Look So Good in Love is in the no. 10 spot. He stayed true to his country roots.
Boyd's Top 10 performance of I Walk the Line is up next in the eleventh slot. It earned him the second iTunes Multiplier of the season since it peaked at no. 6 on the iTunes Top 200.
His Top 5 performance of The Old Rugged Cross is in the no. 12 spot since it was so emotionally driven. It even landed in the Top 3 on iTunes.
His other Top 5 performance of Working Man Blues showed he really knows how to engage the crowd, which is why it's no. 13 on our list.
His Top 8 performance is last in the no. 14 spot. He performed Take It Easy, which was just enough to land him in the Top 5.
