'Hart Of Dixie' Season 4 News: Zoe & Wade's 'Crazy Inappropriate' Response To 'Unexpected' Pregnancy Revealed [VIDEO]
After viewers got over the shock that Zoe Hart is indeed pregnant by Wade on the CW's Hart of Dixie, a new spoiler alert reveals how the Bluebell doctor will react to the news.
Show creator and executive producer Leila Gerstein spoke with E! News Monday and said that while Zoe (Rachel Bilson) has been trying to win back Wade (Wilson Bethel), she is not necessarily ecstatic when she finds out she is pregnant with his child.

"This is an unplanned, unexpected pregnancy, she's a doctor, she's not even with the father, so episode 2 is all about her dealing with the fact that she's pregnant, figuring out what she's going to do now that she's pregnant, what she's going to do about Wade, how she's going to tell him and how he's going to take that news."
She went on to confirm that Zoe will indeed break the news to Wade by the time episode 2 ends. But of course that is just the beginning of the drama rather than an indication of its end.
"Episode 3 will see both of them overreacting to this news in crazily inappropriate ways. Finally, by the end of episode 3, they will have come around and there will be a major resolution as to what's going to happen between them and their child."
Interestingly enough, she added that their relationship would have actually been just fine if Zoe had not gotten pregnant. However, the child will now force them to speed up their decision of whether they will be a romantic couple in the long run or simply co-parent for the good of their child.
As for Gerstein, she said she is "so happy about the pregnancy!"
While it is not what she originally thought of, Bilson's real life pregnancy gave her the opportunity to write it in for the couple.
Hart of Dixie will return Friday, Jan. 9 at 9/8c on The CW.
