Fresh off winning ABC's Dancing With the Stars, actor Alfonso Ribeiro recently discussed whether or not a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion was being planned.

Ribeiro won Dancing With the Stars this fall with partner Witney Carson and while they performed "the Carlton" during their run on the show, an homage to his character Carlton's iconic dance on Fresh Prince, a reunion is not in the works.

"The thing about it is when James Avery [who played Philip Banks] passed, I believe that the core of the show went with him," Ribeiro told Entertainment Tonight. "He was that rock. There's really no reason to go back. I think in life, and this is very true, if you're not moving forward, you're moving backwards.

"Well, boy would that be moving backwards, right? That's going way back! Even doing the Carlton dance on [Dancing With the Stars] was about paying homage to the love that people feel for that show and that character and that dance, but that was me kind of saying bye."

Ribeiro is heading out for the Dancing With the Stars Live! Tour, which begins on Dec. 27. The actor admitted that he wished to go on for longer after the season finale in late November.

"I didn't want it to end, you know?" Ribeiro said. "I just wanted to still be a part of it."

The actor actually sustained a number of injuries during the competition but he pushed through them with great success. He said that while he is not quite '100 percent" yet, though he admitted to feeling "better."

Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season in March on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
