She spoke with BravoTV.com and said that while it was not hard for to see her husband unexpectedly, she confessed it was "uncomfortable."

"I cannot think of a more inappropriate time or place to have a private conversation about our marriage than in the middle of a nightclub during the premiere of a music video. At that particular place in time, the tension in our relationship was at an all-time high.

And even though Apollo had not been around much, the stress was ever present as was evident. I was really just hoping he would not create a scene. My goal was to not fan any of his ego flames, nor have a private conversation in a public place. Everybody knows it would be better to let your slip show a little bit in order to avoid the possibility of having to show your entire a**."

During the taping of the show just weeks ago, Nida had just been sentenced to eight years in jail for his involvement in a major fraud scam. Parks reassured Nida and viewers that her main concern was their two young children Ayden and Dylan. Parks also opened up about the suggestions she received from the cousin of her friend and co-star Kandi Burruss, Melvin, who also revealed in the episode he grew up with a parent behind bars and spent time in jail himself.

"A personal perspective based on experience is always insightful. I appreciate him sharing his thoughts and experience with me so openly."
