'Castle' Season 7 Spoilers: New Episode Titles Suggest Comedic 'Private Eye' Tone Going Forward With Rick [VIDEO]
Two new episode titles have been released for ABC's Castle, revealing that the show will be fully embracing Castle (Nathan Fillion) as a private investigator.

The next episode of Castle is reportedly titled Castle, P.I. and airs Jan. 12 while the following episode is titled Private Eye Caramba!, airing on Jan. 19, according to SpoilerTV.
These episode titles certainly have a comedic edge to them, suggesting that the show is approaching the second half of the season with a more humorous tone than how the season started. With Castle fired from the NYPD, he will now be approaching cases through becoming a private investigator.
Castle and Beckett's (Stana Katic) lives will still be intersecting despite not fully working together. Castle show runner David Amann recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the new approach of the show going forward.
"Their cases are going to intersect, at least in this run, so we'll still have fun Castle-Beckett interaction and conflict over work; it'll have a slightly different quality to it," Amann said. "They may be working different aspects of the same case. But they do cross [paths]. We're not getting into a situation where we have separate A/B stories where Beckett's doing one thing and Castle's doing another. They'll intersect with each other in some fashion."
Castle returns for the second half of season 7 on Monday, Jan. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
