Orange Is the New Black standout character Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), a.k.a. "Crazy Eyes," will not necessarily be in a happy place emotionally when the Netflix series returns for season 3.

Aduba spoke with TVLine recently about the overall theme of the prison comedy-drama's third season, which is the concept of faith.

The actress said Suzanne will be in a "broken place" when the series returns in 2015. "[Series creator] Jenji [Kohan] is playing with the idea of faith and belief. What is faith? What is it we choose to believe in? And [those questions] are true for Suzanne, as well."

Fans will remember that Suzanne was manipulated by Vee (Lorraine Toussaint) into taking the fall for attacking Red (Kate Mulgrew) in the season 2 finale. She was last seen crying when Vee went missing and it was later shown that Vee managed to escape the prison only to be run over by Rosa (Barbara Rosenblat).

Meanwhile, the TVLine report claims that Orange Is the New Black will likely be airing for at least four more seasons after the third, putting its total run at seven seasons. It is not known how true this is, but it is not entirely unexpected as Orange Is the New Black has proven to be one of the most popular shows not only on Netflix, but all of television.

Orange Is the New Black is expected to return for season 3 in mid-2015 on Netflix, though the streaming service has not announced a specific release date.
