Shia LaBeouf Will Shoot Real Sex Scenes In 'Nymphomaniac': 'We're Doing Sex For Real'
Shia Labeouf will perform real sex scenes for his role in Lars Von Trier's "Nymphomaniac" starting next month.
And the "Transformers" star has admitted that he is "terrified" about shooting the erotic thriller.
"It is what you think it is," he told MTV in an exclusive interview. "There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real. And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening."
This will not be the first time the former child star strips down to the buff on-camera. LaBeouf was naked in his guest appearance for Sigur Ros' music video for their song "Fjögur píanó."
Charlotte Gainsboroug and Stellan Skarsgard will lead the cast for "Nymphomaniac." according to The Hollywood Reporter. Skarsgard plays the husband to Gainsboroug's character and shares the history of her sexual adventures throughout the film. Nicole Kidman confirmed she will play a small role in the film. The film's director will release two versions of the movie, one more sexually explicit than the other.
Labeouf recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he will no longer star in blockbuster films now that he is done with the "Transformers" franchise.
His three upcoming projects are all independent films: "Lawless" will arrive in theaters on Labor Day; "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman," will arrive in theaters next year and "The Company You Keep" will hit the film festival circuit this fall.
