According to The Jasmine Brand Monday, the reality star owes more than $1 million. But because Stevie J has earned a sum of $193,499 for his role in VH1's hit reality series Love & Hip Hop Atlanta from January 2013 to August 2013 alone, it looks like there is hope for getting the least amount of jail time possible.
On top of that he has brought in more than $105,000 from music royalties within the last 10 years.

Federal officials handling the situation filed official documents on Dec. 10 and confirmed that they are still in talks of working out a deal with Stevie J so he will not have to go trial. They hope to be finished with negotiations by the end of the month. Apparently the terms of the deal are set to decide if Stevie J will have to go to jail as well as how much of the child support he will have to pay.
Stevie J was taken into custody in June after reportedly not paying child support for his children, one born in 1997 and the other in 1998. He was initially supposed to be paying $6,600 before it was increased to $8,800. According to reports he has not paid the woman child support since 2001, causing him to now owe $1,107,412.
His hearing is slated for Jan. 9. Check out the court documents here.
