Constantine's Matt Ryan is itching to get into a DC film, but the DC universe seems more likely to keep popping up in the NBC series.

Since premiering in October, the NBC comic book adaptation has slipped in Easter egg after Doctor Fate Easter egg into the Mill House. The bastion of safety and supernatural research has become the hot zone for DC references, and it is something the cast is acutely aware of.

"There's all of these little trinkets from the DC universe that should, in time, come into play on the show," teased Charles Halford (Chas) in a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mill House.

Some of these pieces, like Doctor Fate's helmet and the Sword of Light, inadvertently fall into the hands of the series' heroes, usually to humorous results. However, the vast set is crowded with books, artifacts, and knickknacks, meaning there is the potential for nearly anything to appear.

"There's always something in the background that could be significant," Ryan (Constantine) mused.
