A recent tweet on the official account for House of Cards can be interpreted many ways, but one might render a very dramatic twist to season 3 of the Netflix series.

"Nothing is permanent," was stated on the Twitter account of the show. If this could be assumed as hinting at the fact that Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) power is ephemeral it would mean that something might stymie his term as President and thicken the plot of the show. Perhaps some accusation or some of his indiscretions and murders he committed might finally catch up to him putting him in a tough spot, which could demand a resignation of him.

In other related news, it was revealed that filming for season 3 is now through. Showrunner Beau Willimon announced on December 20, that they had completed production for the next chapter of the political drama.

Doug Stamper To Return In Season 3 Of House of Cards?

"Wrapped filming S3 of @HouseofCards just before midnight yesterday. Thnx to our amazing cast & crew! 2/27/14 @netflix," the director tweeted.

On November 15, Willimon had hinted that filming was almost through, tweeted from Los Angeles, appreciation the sunny weather of the west coast:

"Hola LA! Dig the warmth & sun. Short visit but I'll soak it up while I can. Then back to east to finish@HouseofCards"

Not much is known about the next chapter as Willimon has been extremely tight-lipped about the show, which stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

The third season of House of Cards was filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.

Season 3 of House of Cards will release February 27, 2015.
