In a recent poll for best shows of 2014 by a pop culture publication, Beauty and the Beast won the best CW series for the year.

Pop Sugar conducted the poll, and Beauty and the Beast won with 24,000 votes as a fan favorite on the CW.

In other related news, season 2 of Beauty and the Beast will be available for streaming on Netflix starting January 2015.

Netflix revealed the list of shows that will be released on the on demand Internet streaming wesbite, and the CW series will be made available online on January 28, along with Chef.

Last month, it was announced that the DVD for season 2 of Beauty and the Beast will be out on March 15, 2015 and the product details can be found on Walmart.

Stuart Gillard, the director of Beauty and the Beast, recently revealed a new black and white image of Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) in action.

The director threw some wit into his caption for the image stating, "it aint always black and white." He followed this up with a different tweet revealing that shooting for episode 7 was underway and things were moving pretty fast.

Gillard has also been pretty good about keeping fans updated with behind-the-scenes images from the set of filming for season 3.

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
