As the "50 Shades of Grey" movie casting frenzy continues, rumor mill buzz now has fans favoring another potential suitor to play billionaire Christian Grey, only this time it is Shia LaBeouf. The 26-year-old almost instantaneously became a potential suitor upon recently agreeing to star in Lars von Trier's "The Nymphomaniac," where he will allegedly be filmed in explicit sex scenes.
The controversial move could make or break LaBeouf's still young career. However, the extensively racy role also has made him one of the biggest contenders to encompass the S & M dominated part of Grey, stated Policymic.
In just a mere days before he announced the eye-raising role, LaBeouf and girlfriend Karolyn Pho were spotted on Friday having a fifteen minute argument.
Many had suspected his newly revealed part was the root of the quarrel. However, Pho, 23, still continued to remain loyal to her boyfriend, according to the NY Daily News.
"It's none of anybody's business. Everything is fine with us. It was nothing affiliated with his movie. We're normal people who have normal lives," Pho stated.
In an MTV interview that was posted on Wednesday, LaBeouf had publically confirmed that director Lars von Trier was looking to show onscreen sex acts, and that he intended to follow whatever the risqué director leads him to do.
"The Nymphomaniac," which also has Nicole Kidman attached, is slated to be released in 2013.
