Lou Diamond Phillips may play the wise and formidable Henry on the hit crime drama Longmire, but this week the actor faced his biggest challenge of all: assembling Christmas presents for his daughter.

'Longmire' Fans Stock Up On Merchandise

On Wednesday the actor joked on Twitter about those fateful gifts which must be put together and the challenges that ensue.

The following day Phillips updated fans and followers by announcing that he'd finally put together a new Barbie Dream House for his daughter, teasing that he'd had to install a "security system" after Justin Bieber moved in next door to Barbie.

The 52-year-old Longmire star has a young daughter, Indigo, with wife and makeup artist Yvonne Phillips. The family spent Christmas together this year, watching Indigo open presents and likely reveling in the renewal of Phillips' television series.

Longmire faced uncertainty this fall when the program was cancelled by A&E after three seasons. Earlier this month the show was pickled up by Netflix, causing cast, crew, and fans to rejoice at the program's revival. Production is set to begin in March.

Longmire will likely return on Netflix for a fourth season in the summer of 2015.
