It was reported that Amanda Bynes was involved in yet another car accident, on Monday, Aug. 20. Only this time, the former Nickelodeon star had allegedly been driving her rental car in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles at around 8 p.m. when she was the one rear-ended, according to TMZ.

The online gossip site reported that the other driver claimed Bynes had made a "reckless maneuver." Police arrived at the scene but nobody was issued any tickets.

The reason that the 26-year-old had a rental vehicle was due to her BMW being in the body shop from a recent hit-and-run on Aug. 4. In the incident, Bynes had allegedly rear-ended a woman and fled the accident without first exchanging insurance information.

Within the last six months, the "Hairspray" star has been incarcerated for DUI and accused of three hit-and-runs; Monday's event was her fourth car accident since May 5. To top that off, cops also claim that in March, the actress drove away while she was being written up for a cell phone violation.

After conducting an investigation and speaking to Bynes, police now believe there is indeed sufficient evidence to file a misdemeanor charge against her. However, her previous hit-and-run incident is now in the hands of the prosecution, which will kick off the case within the next week.

There is no telling how Bynes' latest car accident will affect the judgment.
