The 10-year-old genius (Riley B. Smith) will accidently leak the location of a CIA safe house while gaming on the dark web, and the information will cost several agents their lives. A call back to Walter's (Elyes Gabel) own legally troubled past, the episode will windup flashing back to a young Sylvester (Ari Stidham) instead.

Out of all the members of Scorpion, Sylvester has had the most trouble adjusting to the team's new alliance with Homeland Security. While the human calculator has intense fears regarding current missions, it looks like his own illicit past may pop up during "Kill Screen."

After leaving home as a teen, Sylvester put his skills to work robbing banks before being caught - but not arrested - by Walter. Viewers will see a 15-year-old Sylvester (as portrayed by Eric Osovsky) in the Jan. 5 episode, and his appearance could either focus on his tumultuous relationship with his family or his teenage crime spree.
