‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Caroline Vows To Reconnect With Rick On New Year’s Eve As Maya Makes Plans For Her Future [VIDEO]
Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) wants nothing more than to truly reconnect with her husband and put their past problems behind them, and New Year's Eve seems like the perfect time for that to happen on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Caroline Admits The Truth About Her Marriage
The couple's marriage hit some major bumps in 2014 after Caroline began working with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and shared a few kisses with him, which led her husband Rick (Jacob Young) to demand a divorce and hook-up again with his former girlfriend, Maya (Karla Moseley). Things seemed to be on the mend however after Rick took Caroline back-except when the couple is alone he is distant, causing Caroline to wonder how much she truly has been forgiven.
Now, however, she will make a vow to do whatever it takes to get past the troubles with Rick-allowing them to reconnect and take the next step in their relationship-becoming parents-in 2015.
"It's New Year's Eve," she says to Ridge in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Dec. 31 episode. "What better time to reconnect than a night where you lay the past to rest and you resolve to be better in the year ahead?"
What Caroline is unware of however, is that Rick only pretended to take her back so he could keep his position as CEO of Forrester-and he has continued seeing Maya. Together, the couple is planning on getting Rick irrevocable control as CEO of the company, which would allow him to make all of the decisions-and would give him the opportunity to truly end the marriage to Caroline and go public with Maya.
And though his obligations will force him to be apart from Maya on New Year's Eve, it won't stop the lead model from gloating over the fact that soon enough she will be Mrs. Forrester-and not Caroline.
"Caroline can have you for tonight," she says to Rick in the clip. "But only because I am going to have you for the rest of my life."
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
