Tom Cruise Divorce: Loved Ones Worried, Losing Weight, Details
For the sake of his health, Tom Cruise's family has pleaded with him to cut down on his work schedule. Proceeding his separation from Katie Holmes this past June, the actor's closest loved ones are worried that he may indeed be overwhelming himself.
According to Contact Music, his family would prefer that the 50-year-old take a hiatus. However, the star has allegedly brushed it off.
''His way of dealing with this is to throw himself into his work, but as a result he's not looking after himself and he risks cutting himself off from people who care about him and want to make sure he's OK," also added the source. ''He is refusing to slow down and is trying to soldier on. He doesn't seem to be himself. He hasn't been working out like he normally does and doesn't appear to be eating well at all. His clothes just hang off him," stated a source of the British publication.
The actor has allegedly dropped 14 pounds and the recent death of "Top Gun" director-friend Tony Scott on Aug. 19 is said to only have made matters worse.
Cruise had recently released a statement on the tragedy, saying, ''Tony was my dear friend and I will really miss him. My deepest sorrow and thoughts are with his family at this time."
