Ballas recently spoke with Orlando Sentinel about a variety of topics, including his many partners, such as Kim Kardashian, Sabrina Ryan and most recently Sadie Robertson.
Discussing Kardashian, Ballas said that the megastar "wasn't the best dancing partner" when she competed in season 7. "I love her, she's awesome, we became good friends. I know the family well. Dancing was not her thing, but she's a great girl."

Bryan, his first celebrity partner back in season 5, was apparently his most "natural" partner.
"She was probably the most natural and aggressive and fierce partner. She did have prior dance training. She was young and athletic, everything was super fast, he said. "It was my first season. We got along really well. She showed me around L.A., introduced me to her friends. It was a tremendous season. We remain good friends."
One partner he did not find particularly dynamic was Bristol Palin, who he competed with in season 11 and season 15's All Stars. While he said that she was neither the best dancer nor the most outgoing personality, their success proved the power of the fan vote.
On his most recent partner, Robertson, he said that she kept him calm throughout the season. The pair wound up in second place.
"Her beautiful attitude made it enjoyable for me going into my 15th season."
As expected, however, he admitted that he "loved" the seasons that he won, which was season 6 with Kristi Yamaguchi and season 8 with Shawn Johnson.
It remains to be seen who Ballas will be paired with in season 20, but he is certainly on a hot streak. He came in second place with Robertson in season 19 and came in third with Candace Cameron Bure in season 18.
Dancing With the Stars returns for season 20 on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
