Taylor Swift Crashes Wedding of Kennedy Family Member, Asked 'Nicely' to Leave By Mother of Bride
Taylor Swift was caught kissing her current boyfriend Conor Kennedy this past Saturday, Aug. 18, and reports now say that it took place at a Kennedy family wedding that the "Love Story" singer reportedly crashed.
The actress allegedly refused to leave even after she was asked to do so by the mother of the bride, Victoria Gifford Kennedy. According to the Huffington Post, she asked Swift to leave because "she did not want Swift there so as to not take attention away from her daughter."
But the 22-year-old singer reportedly ignored the request.
"They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come," Victoria told the Boston Herald. "I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.' They came anyway. ... I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."
The Saturday wedding was that of Liam Kerr and Kyle Kennedy, daughter of the late Michael Kennedy and Victoria.
A representative for Swift, Paula Erickson, however, denied the accusations, telling People that the claims made by Victoria are arguably false.
"Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there," she said.
Prior reports suggested that Swift was getting along with the Kennedy family and that they consider her a "great friend."
Enstarz previously reported that sources close to the couple said Swift and Kennedy first hit if off when Swift helped him cope with his mother's death. Mary Kennedy committed suicide in May of this year.
