Rick (Jacob Young) has been making moves for some time to gain and keep full control of Forrester Creations-and it appears he will get exactly what he wants on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Caroline Vows To Reconnect With Rick

Since learning that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) shared a few kisses, he has been consumed by revenge and hooked back up with Maya (Karla Moseley). He has since fooled everyone into believing he reunited with Caroline, while he has been actually scheming with Maya behind the scenes, intent on getting irrevocable control of the company, which would allow him to officially divorce Caroline and go public with his relationship with Maya.

And though Ridge will make a big effort to stop Eric (John McCook) from signing the papers that will give Rick what he wants, he won't be able to get to him in time-meaning Rick will get the control he desires.

Caroline Makes A Shocking Confession About Her Feelings

"You're too late Ridge, it's already been signed," Rick says to his brother in a preview clip for the Friday, Jan. 2 episode.

The news that Rick and Maya will now have control and will be able to flaunt their relationship in Caroline's face won't sit well with Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), who learned the two were still carrying on their affair behind Caroline's back, and is now positive that Othello (Othello Clark) also has something to do with the plot. As a result, she will corner him and demand he give her answers about what Rick and Maya have been plotting.

"If those two are planning something...if something bad is going to happen today, then you need to tell me," she says to him in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
