Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Moseley) had an incredibly successful takeover of Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful, and their next big move could be a shocking one to everyone around them.

After convincing Eric (John McCook) to sign papers giving Rick irrevocable control for a year, Rick announced that he and Maya were still seeing one another and were going to now run the company together-despite his appearing to be back with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey).

Now, the next move the power-hungry duo makes could be anyone's guess-here are three possible ways the story could continue to unfold.

1. Rick Will Immediately Fire Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Caroline and Ivy

The best revenge against his brother and wife for their sharing a few kisses a few months ago would be to toss them out of the company. Rick probably wouldn't axe two of his most successful designers however-and could instead focus his attention on Ivy-who didn't spill his secret in order to protect her job, but could find herself still on the chopping block.

2. Ridge Will Stage A Coup

Ridge is not going to take his brother's unchangeable control lightly-meaning he could try to find some way to take it out from under him. It will be hard to install himself at the head position of the company, but he'll find some way to do it so he can keep Rick from making a big mistake with the company.

3. Steffy Is Coming Back-Could She Do Something To Keep Rick At Bay?

Steffy will be back on the canvas soon-and may bring her brother Thomas with her. Could the two Forrester siblings take Rick head on?
