It looks like Daphne is going to be dealing with a lot in her future that will include more than Bay taking the fall for her crime on Switched at Birth.

'Switched At Birth' Cast Members Sing Holiday Song In Sign Language

Earlier this week, Katie LeClerc told TV Guide that her character is going to be "overwhelmed with guilt" after Bay said that she was the one committed the vandalism even though it was Daphne who did it. But this is going to create some confusion for everyone because even though Daphne may be guilty, Bay is the one who might have every right to deal with that responsibility considering that no one made her take that fall.

"Bay made the choice...so Daphne is in this weird place where she wants to make it up to her, but it's something [Bay] chose to do," LeClerc said. "Bay has a huge battle to climb."

Chatter On The 'Switched At Birth' Christmas Special

While Daphne attends college, it might seem like she's off to a fresh start, but things don't go as expected.

"We're dealing with college life and some really difficult issues I never saw coming," LeClerc said.

The actress then revealed if her character is going to find herself a new lover.

"I haven't had any intimate scenes yet, but I heard it's coming," she said.

This gives a good haul of curiosity on how things are going to go down. What kinds of "issues" will Daphne come across at college and who is she going to meet?

Switched at Birth Season 4 will air on Tuesday, January 6 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
