The winter premiere of season 6, titled Hail Mary, which returned after a brief hiatus, aired on January 4.
In the promo for the upcoming episode, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Frank Prady (Davis Hyde Pierce) are seen engaged in the crucial debate, and Alicia seems to be caught off guard with something, and is not quite prepared which causes worry amongst her campaign experts, including Eli (Alan Cumming). The clip even offers a glimpse of Cary (Matt Czuchry) looking ecstatic to be back at work. There is no hint of the predicament of a riot Peter will be faced with in the preview, though.
The episode will air on January 11 on CBS.
