A whole bunch of storylines are set to converge on the upcoming second half of the season on ABC's Once Upon a Time, including discovering the identity of The Author and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) true identity being explored.

With the second half of Once Upon a Time season 4 still over a month and a half away, TVLine has revealed numerous spoilers regarding what fans should expect from their favorite characters. The report revealed that Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) would be on "a collision course" over finding the elusive Author, hoping to ask him to rewrite their story with a happy ending.

As the Author's identity is revealed, viewers will get to see more of Emma's identity as well. Once Upon a Time executive producer Adam Horowitz told TVLine that "Emma will continue to explore what her particular heritage really means, as we learn that there are more secrets attached to who she was, is and will be."

Many fathers will be introduced in the second half of the season, including Aurora's father King Stefan and Ursula's father Poseidon, who will be played by Ernie Hudson.

Ultimately, this string of episodes will be exploring the questions, "What makes a hero? What makes a villain?" as the show's core characters are featured more heavily than they were in the first half of the season.

Once Upon a Time is slated to return Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
