Julia Ormond, who played Joanna on the series, turned 50-years-old on Sunday where her on-screen daughter sent her sincere birthday wishes. Rachel Boston, who played Ingrid, posted a headshot of Ormond on her Instagram page where she gave her former co-star a sweet message.

'Witches Of East End' Star Has 'Tweeting Party' To Bring The Series Back

A number of fans commented on this picture with the hashtag "RenewWitchesOfEastEnd," which has been going viral on social media ever since the series went off the air. They left other comments with their disappointment such as, "Sundays are not the same anymore :( miss the lovely witches."

Over the past couple months, cast members, crew members and audiences have done what they could to help bring the show back for a third season, but no news of a renewal has been announced yet. There was some chatter on Twitter of a possibility that the show could make an appearance on Netflix, but that has yet to become official. There was a recent flyer that said Netflix was interested, but that link is unavailable now since the campaign ended in December.

If nothing gets an announcement anytime soon, then the show might be done for good. But the petition has currently reached more than 95,000 signatures so only time will tell from here.
