'Being Mary Jane' Season 2 Premiere: Character Gets Into Screaming Match With Brother, 'I See Why David Doesn't Want You' [VIDEO]
As if Mary Jane did not have enough men problems already, a new trailer for BET's Being Mary Jane shows the famous journalist going head-to-head with another important male in her life.
Mary Jane Entertains 'Other Suiters' After Split With David
In the clip Mary Jane hosts a dinner in which she and her brother P.J. get into a screaming match and slam each other where it really hurts.
This is pretty shocking for viewers considering P.J. seemed to be Mary Jane's ally in the first season when it came to her family relationships.
At the party Mary Jane and her close friends speak on deep issues plaguing the Black community from lack of education to religion. That's when P.J. enters and greets the guests. All seems to be well between him and Mary Jane at first. But things quickly take a left turn when they disagree about their father's wealth and the state of the economy in the nation.
They argue about their brother, who has a degree but Mary Jane feels he is not making the most out of his life and "babysits movies for a living."
She takes a dig at P.J. and says, "I would have used your a-- as an example but you're sitting here."
She goes on to call him out for sleeping with women for drugs and still living with their parents.
P.J. shoots back and references her recent split.
"Now I see why David doesn't want you. Now I see why he's with that White chick," and walks away, leaving Mary Jane and her guests speechless.
Being Mary Jane returns to BET Feb. 3 at 10/9c.
