'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Is Stefan Coming Over To 'The Vampire Diaries' Spin-Off? [VIDEO]
The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin and her Vampire Diaries beau, Paul Wesley, the last days of their winter break on the beach in Mexico.
Tonkin posted a photo of the pair lying in the sun on Instagram Sunday before she had to return to the set on Tuesday.

The couple usually find themselves in different cities, with Wesley starring as Stefan on The Vampire Diaries and Tonkin starring as the formidable Hayley on the spin-off, The Originals.

The shows have had a few crossover episodes so far, but neither Stefan nor Hayley have been a part of them. Since the pair are dating though, it does present an unique incentive for writers to get them in the same city.
According to the Daily Mail on Monday, the last photo Tonkin publicly shared of the two of them was back in August, suggesting the actors don't get nearly enough time together as they might like. There are no new crossover events in the works just yet and swapping leads isn't easy, but Wesley might make an exception and try to make it work if it meant seeing his girlfriend for a little while.
The Originals returns on The CW for the remainder of its second season on Monday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
