Another actress from American Horror Story: Coven is slated to appear on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, and she seems to be having a lot of fun.

Jamie Brewer, who played the clairvoyant Nan in Coven and the adorable Adelaide in the first season of American Horror Story, is returning to the show in the next episode. As seen in the promo for the upcoming episode, titled Magical Thinking, Brewer is playing an intriguing new character.

Brewer is shown wearing heavy white makeup, briefly glancing at the camera with a knowing look. She might be playing the real life ventriloquist doll of guest star Neil Patrick Harris' character Chester, who is seen with a doll that looks too similar to Brewer's appearance. Might there be some sort of supernatural magic involved or is the real-life doll played by Brewer a hallucination on the part of Chester?

'American Horror Story' Losing Both Jessica Lange & Sarah Paulson Ahead Of Fifth Season?

Harris is slated to appear as the character, who is a "chameleon salesman" that takes over the freak show as Elsa (Jessica Lange) prepares for her big move to Hollywood. He is expected to guest star in the upcoming episode 11 and then episode 12 after that.

It remains to be seen if Brewer's character will stick around through the end of the season or if she is just an imaginary friend for Chester.

American Horror Story: Freak Show returns on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
