Filming for season 3 of Beauty and the Beast resumed on January 6 after a brief hiatus.

Two of the cast and crew members of the CW series, revealed that filming is set to begin on January 6, as the tweeted their excitement at the wheels being set in motion again.

"Day 1 of BATB 2015 commences tomorrow with great love and support from you the BEASTIES the dedicated diehard family! #BATB #no-slowing-Dwn!" tweeted actor Jason Gedrick, who is most likely guest starring in season 3.

Gillian Horvath, who is a writer for the show also posted the news via her account.

"Hiatus ends today. Filming resumes tomorrow. Which means - best part! - dailies on Wednesday. Love seeing scripts come to life," she tweeted.

Gedrick has generally been actively tweeting about the filming of season 3.

"I would describe the next shooting episode as "Diabolically Seductive". #BATB," he tweeted on January 4.

This was preceded by a tweet about the script and how amazing the music would be for the episode.

"Next script of BATB has a little bit of everything with everyone!!! The music editor will have a FIELD DAY! Glad to get back to it! #BATB."

The executive producer of the CW series, Brad Kern, has previously spoken about the what fans can expect from the next chapter of the show in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Kern revealed that season 3 would focus on Catherine and Vincent's (Jay Ryan) love.

"Now that we have the loyal audience, the goal is to make it more Cat-Vincent centric," he said. "We'll continue to build the mythology. Everything else will service and work around that love."

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
