Ultraviolence, which was released last June, sold 182,000 copies in its first week becoming Del Rey’s first album to go No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Her debut, Born to Die, peaked at No. 2 after its 2012 release and went platinum in 2014. For Honeymoon, which will also include a cover of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood,” the singer said she’s exploring new territory.

“It's very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise,” she told the publication. “I finished my last one in March and released it in June and I had a follow-up idea. It's growing into something I really like. I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It's been good.”

In the meantime, Del Rey is basking in some other success. The title track she wrote for Tim Burton's new film Big Eyes received a Golden Globe nomination and also has potential for an Oscar nod. She also lent her vocals for the successful lead single from Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby in 2013.
