'Covert Affairs' Cancelled: Fans Have Already Signed Petition, Could It Help Save The Show? [VIDEO]
Following the cancellation of USA's Covert Affairs, a petition has been started by upset viewers to #RenewCovertAffairs.
'Covert Affairs' Has Officially Been CANCELED After Five Seasons
After the hit-series was cancelled on Tuesday, angry fans have reacted and won't step down until their voices are heard. With a goal of 100,000 signatures, petition Renew Covert Affairs has earned more than 200 so far.
The petition talks about how another show, Witches of East End, received 90,000 signatures and now "may be brought back or picked up by another network."
Executive Producers Talk Whether 'Covert Affairs' Has Been Renewed For A Sixth Season
The person who created this petition thinks the show should be renewed for a sixth season because the show needs at least tow more seasons to improve the overall ratings.
In addition, the petition creator is pretty disappointed that the show was cancelled on such a big cliffhanger.
"The show is full of fantastic actors especially Piper Perabo. I think that Covert Affairs is one of the best crime shows out there! Use the hashtag #RenewCovertAffairs to show the USA network we want MORE of Annie Walker!!" the creator of the petition wrote.
Following the creation of the petition, people have taken to the discussion board to share their opinions:
"Please do not cancel the best show on your network since Burn Notice. I am still upset by that cancellation. I love this cast and would hate to not see them every week. this is one of the few shows that my daughter and I bond over. don't take that from us," wrote PJ Davis.
"At least end the show properly, like White Collar," wrote Lori.
USA's decision to cancel the show comes after the recent television addition of Mr. Robot and the continuation of Graceland, Royal Pains, Suits, Benched and Playing House.
