Hilarious New Jurassic World Trailer Mashup With Parks And Rec Feat. Andy Dwyer
In latest news, it is being suggested that the second trailer for the movie, is set to be unveiled at the 49th Super Bowl, which will take place on February 1.
Recently the specs on three new breeds of dinosaurs including the mosasaurus were revealed on the official website for the movie. A promotional mock website for the company and founder of Jurassic World has also been set up.
First Look Inside The Visitor's Center In Jurassic World Revealed
The website (masraniglobal.com) looks very authentic with all the makings of a real corporate webpage. On the page which features a detailed fictional description of the founding of the company in the Seventies by Sanjay Masrani, who is being played by Indian actor Irrfan Khan in the movie. There are also investors, media and career pages on there. Two stills of Khan as Masrani are also featured on the site, which promoted the companies new project the dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World.
The trailer starts with Gray (Ty Simpkins) being seen off by his parents at the airport as he heads to Jurassic World with a friend. The space is designed like a water park, and visitors are seen enjoying a feeding show, in which a massive dinosaur leaps out of the water to chompdown a shark that hangs atop. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) seems to be one of the masterminds of the park and she is seen informing Owen (Chris Pratt) about a new hybrid dinosaur they have engineered. Owen expresses grave concern over this development.
The trailer is more suggestive and audiences are made aware of the danger that lurks about through the dialogue between characters, the prime villain, the hybrid dinosaur, is not made visible to us at any point. Owen is later seen telling Claire that the beast will kill anything that moves. There is one spectacular scene of Owen speeding on a motorbike with a bunch of medium dinosaurs racing with him.
In an interview, Pratt, who plays the lead role of Owen, the character is something of a behavioral expert on dinosaurs and helps train them, spoke about the fact that the park will be decaying and suffering from a loss of visitors. The creator will seek to rectify this by introducing a new attraction, which won't be the aquatic dinosaurs, but a new mutated breed of dinosaurs which are genetically engineered by human beings and not an organic subset of the species.
This mutant dinosaur will most likely be the prime antagonist in Jurassic World and will rip the park to shreds once on the lam. It has been suggested that this hybrid dinosaur will have predominant features of the T-Rex.
Jake Johnson, who will be playing the part of Lowery, revealed that his character will be a "nerd" and a good friend of Owen's. It is also rumored that he will be operating the park from the control room, essentially a tech guy.
The bad guys in the movie are rumored to be portrayed by Vincent D'Onofrio and Irrfan Khan. D'Onofrio will be the CFO of Masrani Corp. which is owned by Masrani (Khan) who is also the owner of Jurassic World. The two might play the greedy buggers who don't mind putting people's lives in danger for a lucrative opportunity.
Ty Simpkins will be playing a kid who is visiting the park and Bryce Dallas Howars also seems to be taking on a corporate role, and works for Masrani, though that does not necessarily mean she will be in agreement with the decisions they take. We have a gnawing feeling that she will play Owen's (Pratt) love interest in the movie and will help him save the day when the shit hits the fan.
It has also been suggested that the movie will in a way pay homage to Jurassic Park (1994) by hinting at a few iconic scenes from the seminal film.
The movie has been directed by Colin Trevorrow and also stars Judy Greer.
The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.
The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
