A whole new bunch of stills from the upcoming episode, titled 'The Debate' of The Good Wife, were recently revealed.

The images, which were released by CBS, mostly feature Julianna Margulies as Alicia and David Hyde Pierce as Frank Prady, her opponent in the state's attorney race. The episode will primarily focus on a crucial debate between the two of them as they fight it out for the coveted poistion.

The brief synopsis for the upcoming episode, which follows the mid-season premier of season 6 of The Good Wife was revealed on January 5.

The synopsis reveals that Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) will ne put in a tough spot as he will have to prepare to deal with the threat of a potential riot in the city of Chicago.

Here is the official synopsis:

"Alicia and Frank Prady square off in a crucial debate in the race for State's Attorney as Peter and the city of Chicago prepare for a potential riot."

The winter premiere of season 6, titled Hail Mary, which returned after a brief hiatus, aired on January 4.

In the promo for the upcoming episode, Alicia and Frank Prady are seen engaged in the crucial debate, and Alicia seems to be caught off guard with something, and is not quite prepared which causes worry amongst her campaign experts, including Eli (Alan Cumming). The clip even offers a glimpse of Cary (Matt Czuchry) looking ecstatic to be back at work. There is no hint of the predicament of a riot Peter will be faced with in the preview, though.

The episode will air on January 11 on CBS.
