‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sonny Receives A Major Shock & Surprise When He Stops By Paul’s Hotel Room [VIDEO]
Their marriage has been strained recently, but things could officially come to a screeching halt for Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Guy Wilson) on Days of Our Lives.
Will Finally Learns That Paul Is Gay
Sonny has been struggling ever since his ex, famous baseball player Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) arrived in Salem, because Paul has made it very clear to Sonny that he wants him back, despite Sonny now being married. Added to that, he and husband Will (Guy Wilson) have not fully recovered from the distance that grew between them when Will left for L.A. They have grown to have issues since his return due to Will's lie about why he came home, Sonny secretly draining all their savings into the new club, and Will's non-stop work assignment.
While going through old mementos at the apartment, Sonny came across a baseball that Paul gave him once upon a time, and decided he would return it to him so there is no chance Will finds it and realizes he was once the ballplayer's boyfriend. However, when he gets to Paul's hotel room, he could be in for a major shock if he sees that Will is already there.
Paul Receives Devastating News About The Future
Will's big work assignment that has been keeping him from Sonny has been none other than a big, secret interview with Paul to talk about his ball career following his shoulder surgery-an interview where he also kept his marriage a secret. However, after a chance encounter on New Year's Eve, Will finally realized the truth about Paul-that he too is gay-and he wound up not only betraying the vows he made to his husband, but also crossed all professional lines as a journalist as he and Paul started having sex.
Now, when Sonny arrives at the room, it could cause the couple's marriage to fall apart. Whether Sonny catches Will in the act of being unfaithful, or Will realizes Sonny and Paul were once lovers, it could bring the couple to a point that they cannot return from.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
