"Outlaw Queen" fans, a.k.a. Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), have not seen the end of their favorite relationship on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

'Once Upon a Time's Snow, Rumple, Emma & More Explored Further As Hunt For The Author Heats Up

Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the show's various couples, including Robin Hood and Regina. Rest assured, we haven't seen the last of their relationship.

Horowitz noted that Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) story was not over and still had some chapters left, and said that "the same [chapter] analogy applies" to Outlaw Queen.

"We haven't seen the end of it," Kitsis added. "The story is just at a middle point and although it seemed final [in the mid-season finale], I would definitely keep watching because there's much more to come."

Of course there are also fans of the Regina and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) relationship. The two friends will further explore their friendship in the second half of season 4, according to the co-creators.

"We're excited to explore and continue the friendship between Emma and Regina," Horowitz revealed. "I think we'll continue to see them working together, probably even more then we have in the first half of the season, as they're dealing with this new threat in [Storybrooke]."

That new threat is the Queens of Darkness, a.k.a. Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Ursula (Merrin Dungey). It remains to be seen if Emma and Regina will put aside their differences born out of Emma bringing Robin Hood's wife Marian (Christie Laing) back from the past.

Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
