'Vikings' Season 3 Spoilers: Premiere Title Announced, First Three Episodes Revealed [VIDEO]
As Vikings moves ever closer to its season 3 premiere, the History Channel has revealed the titles of the first three episodes.
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and his warriors will kick off the spring season will "Mercenary." The new King of Denmark will then sail the series into "The Wanderer" and the ominously titled "Warrior's Fate," according to Spoiler TV.
The drama will use the first part of the third season to revisit Essex before Ragnar and Co. attempt to take the well fortified city of Paris. Before the leader can strive to fulfill his wanderlust, however, the core characters will have to move past an opening predicament.
"Our leads start in a bad place," series creator Michael Hirst revealed, according to Yahoo! TV. "They're in dysfunctional relationships of one kind or another and there's a lot of resolving to do."
Over the course of the third season, Vikings will introduce several new characters. These include The Wanderer (Kevin Durand), who will undoubtedly make his debut in episode 2; Kalf (Ben Robson), Lagertha's second in command; Emperor Charles of France (Lothaire Bluteau); and Princess Gisla (Morgane Polanski), Charles' daughter.
