Dr. Phil's car has reportedly been stolen from a repair shop in Los Angeles. The TV personality's $100,000 1957 Chevy was stolen on Sunday, August 26th. Dr. Phil, whose real name is Phillip Calvin McGraw, and his pal was believed to have been working on the car but eventually took it to the repair shop when they could not get it to start.

The car was towed to the shop, where it was reportedly stolen after the thieves smashed through a roll-up door at the repair center.

The vintage car is black with a red leather interior.

McGraw first came to recognition when he started appearing in the Oprah Winfrey Shows in the 1990s.
The TV personality, author, and psychologist runs his own show, "Dr Phil", which debuted in 2002. According to his website, the show "provides the most comprehensive forum on mental health issues in the history of television." It has since received 25 Emmy nominations and won five PRISM awards. The show has been honored four times by the Alliance for Women in Media.

McGraw's first best-selling book was "Life Strategies", followed by three more best-selling relationship books. He has written six number one New York Time bestsellers which has been published in 39 languages and sold over 24 million copies in print worldwide.
