Rob Kardashian Talks Rihanna Relationship Rumors and Outburst On "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" To Ryan Seacrest (AUDIO)
Robert Kardashian opened up to Ryan Seacrest about why he made headlines this week. The reality star was photographed with pop singer Rihanna and had an emotional outburst during a family therapy session on the lastest episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
"I was just trying to go at my own pace, didn't really do much," Kardashian, 25, told Seacrest. He spoke with the "American Idol" host on Tuesday, Aug. 28, on his KIIS FM radio show.
The former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant said he hung out with the "S&M" singer because they have a mutual friend, also saying, "and it was her birthday. Then we all went out to celebrate our friend's birthday. It was fun! It was a good night!"
When he was asked about his outburst on E!'s hit reality show, he attributed it to the fact that he "gets very passionate about things."
"The therapist just got the emotions all out of me. I just had to get out of there. I guess it was something that needed to be let out," he said. "Sometimes I say things I don't mean and I usually take it out on Kim," also noting that its because she brings out his "negative energy."
On the latest episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," which aired on Sunday, Aug. 26, Rob had an emotional meltdown in a session with a family therapist. When asked about a disagreement between him and his older sister Kim, he yelled "Kim is literally the most selfish person here. All she cares about is herself."
"My anger, a lot of it stems from the working environment, because they all put this cloud on me like I'm a loser," he told Seacrest. "I blow up later because when there's a business opportunity, all my mom obviously cares about is the three girls."
On Saturday, Aug. 25, he was photographed with Rihanna, 24, in California and it was rumored that they were on a date. The singer hung out with Rob at Racer's Edge Indoor Karting in Burbank, Calif., and beat the "Kardashians" star in a friendly go-kart race around the track.
Rob later took her to the Playhouse club in Hollywood. The pair were photographed smoking marijuana at another club later that night.
Rob is known for his appearance on "Kardashians" and one of its hit spin-offs shows, "Khloé & Lamar." He also competed and placed second on season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars."
"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" airs Sundays on E! at 9/8c.
