Fox's Gotham has officially found Robin's father in the form of actor Rob Gorrie.

Gorrie has been cast as John Grayson on Gotham, as reported by ComicBook.com recently. He reportedly filmed scenes for the 16th episode of the season, titled The Blind Fortune Teller.
The actor posted a photo of himself on Instagram last Monday on the set of Gotham alongside Ben McKenzie, who plays Detective Jim Gordon on the series.

"Just wrapped! What an experience... Thank you #Gotham. Can't wait for everyone to see this episode!" he wrote in the caption.
He originally tweeted about his excitement over being cast in the Batman series.
"Excited to share that I'll be guest starring on #Gotham next month! More details to come..."
Gotham show runner Bruno Heller spoke with Entertainment Weekly back in November about the inclusion of Robin's parents in the series.
"We're going to do a prenatal origin story for Robin down the line," Heller teased, saying that "There are no MRIs involved. There's an episode coming up where we learn how Robin's parents got together."
Robin is obviously a great deal younger than Batman/Bruce Wayne so introducing him at all would be a bit out of line with the current continuity of the series.
It remains to be seen if Robin himself will be featured at all during the course of Gotham.
Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
