Terry Crews: 'Expendables' Actor And Former NFL Player Hints At WWE Future
Former NFL player and "The Expendables 2" actor Terry Crews hinted on Twitter that he may soon get into the ring with World Wresting Entertainment.
Crews hinted at a potential appearance with the WWE sometime in the near future.
"How would everybody feel about me beating the living snot out of your favorite @WWE stars? Hmmmm..." he tweeted.
Crews also praised the theatrics and entertainment value of wrestling.
"I'm talking to the WWE about doing some things," he wrote. "I love the energy and excitement and the live component. It's theater on a grand scale!"
Crews already has some WWE connections. He's currently appearing on the NBC reality show "Stars Earn Stripes" alongside WWE star Eve Torres, and he attended the WWE's SummerSlam VIP Kick-Off Party in Beverly Hills two weeks ago.
Perhaps Crews can also get some tips from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who Crews appeared with the 2008's "Get Smart."
Crews competed in the NFL for seven years as a linebacker, playing for teams including the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.
He also has a host of acting credits to his name. Crews has appeared on television in "Everybody Hates Chris" and on the silver screen in films including "Click," starring Adam Sandler.
