The ABC drama's plot nearly came to a conclusion at the end of season 3, but writers managed to revitalize the storyline with the return of the allegedly deceased David Clarke. With Mr. Clarke's mysterious past fueling the current season, it looks like the plot won't run thin in the near future.

"I really love the show," ABC boss Paul Lee said at the Winter TCAs, according to Entertainment Weekly. "We'll see where we go with it. They have some great storylines coming up this year. There are ways to reinvent it, too."

Could Malcolm Black's 'Revenge' Threats Dive Jack & Emily Farther Apart? Nick Wechsler Explains

Lee's statement lines up with those of Nick Wechsler (Jack), who recently told The Mirror that he believes the drama has at least two more seasons in it.

"I think you can get two more solid seasons out of it - season four and five - and then something would have to shift dramatically after that in order for me to believe that we could get another few solid seasons out of it," Wechsler explained. "With David coming back and everything, I think you've got a solid two [seasons]."
