James Leonard, Jr. told E! News Wednesday, "The misinformation being published by various media outlets regarding my client and the details of her incarceration are blatantly false. Whoever is buying these bogus stories, you're wasting your money; whoever is reading them, you're reading pure fiction, and whoever is selling them, legal action will be taken."

He added that Giudice is "acclimating" well and often is alone by choice.

As far as speculation that her husband, Joe Giudice, was banned from visiting her because he is a co-defendant in her trial, Leonard confirmed that while it was a little more difficult to get visitation approved, they are working on it.

Another rumor was that Teresa is very popular in her new home of federal prison just more than a week after she checked in. Teresa surrendered on Jan. 5 to begin her 15-month sentence. Since then, she has gained her own group of acquaintances.

An insider said, "The vultures who want to be her bestie were all over her."

Despite Teresa's attempts to just be a normal inmate, she can't help but be the topic of conversation with more than just the prisoners.

"All anyone is talking about is that woman- even the staff," they revealed.

Teresa is currently serving Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, CT. She and Joe pleaded guilty to several federal charges in March 2014. While she was given 15 months, Joe was handed a little more than three years. On top of that he might have to be deported back to his native country of Italy upon his release.
