Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) are Hetty's (Linda Hunt) go-to team when a mission requires a trip south of the boarder, and "Black Wind" will require the partner's expertise once more. When an anthrax poisoning hints at a possible bioweapon, Sam and Callen will have to uncover the source before a full-scale attack takes place.
"I've been so silent! I've been so busy!" director Dennis Smith tweeted in mid-December. "Today was Guns, helicopter's, Anthrax, terrorists and luckily a #NCISLA supportive cast and crew."

Amusingly enough, Sam and Callen will have to pose as food truck workers to track down their lead.
Meanwhile, the Office of Special Projects will get a helping hand from NCIS Special Agent Paola Fuentes. Played by Enlisted's Angelique Cabral, it remains unknown whether Fuentes will head across the boarder or if she will team up with Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) in Los Angeles.
