The US consulate in Tunisia will be under attack in a brand new episode of NCIS: LA, and U.S. Ambassador Nancy Kelly (Julie Chen) will barely escape the deadly scene with her life. Unfortunately, a sailor will die protecting the Ambassador, prompting the Office of Special Projects to look into the case.
"This truckload of armed terrorists pull up and there's a gun battle and I'm whisked off to safety," Chen said of the attack, while LL Cool J teased viewers that the episode "it has the shootout of all shootouts."

Once the terrorists take control of the consulate, however, Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) will be unable to fully analyze the scene of the crime. The pair will employ a little 3D printing technology to help bring the evidence home.
"Callen and Sam have been sent over there to investigate what happened," O'Donnell said in a featurette. "Because the terrorists had control of the consulate we couldn't go in there to investigate so we sneak in for five minutes, snap these shots, and put them in this printer [that] recreates what is in the actual crime scene."
