Ecumenical News reported on Friday that the cancellation was due to poor ratings and only receive 1.1 million viewers in November, an all-time low for the show.
Instead, USA Network will be turning the screen to some other shows set to premiere in 2015. The shows that will return include: Graceland, Playing House, Suits, Satisfaction, Benched and Royal Pains.
New shows for the network will also be hitting television sets thie year. USA gave the go-ahead for Mr. Robot, a drama starring Christian Slater and Rami Malek. Other shows to debut on the network include Dig and Complications.
Shows that USA would like to include for 2015, but have not yet been approved, include Stanistan (starring Jennifer Carpenter) and Colony (featuring Josh Holloway from Lost).
Though fans are sure to miss Covert Affairs, it seems that USA is doing a pretty decent job at trying to fill that void for its curious viewers.
