Blake Shelton Talks About Getting 'Drunk' While Miranda Lambert Is Away

The country star voiced his opinion on the armed forces on Twitter Monday after expressing a sincere interest in seeing the new film American Sniper, which stars Bradley Cooper in the real-life story of legendary sniper and veteran Chris Kyle.

Shelton has always supported the troops and followed up his American Sniper tweet by claiming that his support for the military is simple and just.

This isn't the first time Shelton has publicly shown his appreciation for those who have served the United States and sacrificed their lives to protect others.

Back in September the star brought Marie Esther and Roland Kiendrebeogo up on stage in their Navy uniforms, along with their 14-year-old son. The Neon Light singer proceeded to serenade the couple, who had been fans of his ever since they came to America from West Africa.

In December Shelton took part in a Pepsi ad which featured his performance aboard the USS Lexington, where he visited with service men and women who'd brought their families along for the concert.

Shelton is currently in Los Angeles filming season 8 of NBC's The Voice. He will begin his 2015 tour in March, hitting a number of states before meeting up with wife and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert at the Big Barrell Country Festival.
