5 Seconds of Summer 2015: Ashton Irwin Shaves His ‘Holiday Beard’ & Fans React [PHOTO, VIDEO]
5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin let his facial hair grow during the holiday season, but it has met its end.
On Jan. 19, the drummer revealed on Twitter, "The holiday beard is ... GONE". He also included a frowning face emoji to show he was not exactly thrilled with shaving, but he did it anyway.
He then tweeted the hashtag, "#RIPASHTONSBEARD".

Irwin then revealed what his freshly shaved face looks like.

Fans had mixed reactions to him shaving off his facial hair, including one fan that suggested, "you can grow it back again".

Another fan was slightly outraged that Irwin shaved. "NO I LOVED YOUR BREAD" she told him.

Other fans were relieved he shaved and celebrated by tweeting, "YES OMG" and other similar messages to the drummer.

Another fan felt as though his face is "so bare" without the facial hair.

Other fans told the drummer he looks good and tan. Though the one fan that said he looks tan could not comprehend how considering his face was previously covered in hair.

Then other fans made jokes out of the situation such as claiming they're mad at Irwin because he "killed" his beard.
