Nolan is now engaged to the slightly saner Louise, but fans have yet to see any significant movement on the Jack (Nick Wechsler)/Emily (Emily VanCamp) front. While Emily is still getting over the death of Aiden, mourning doesn't often last long in the Hamptons. Eventually Emily will have to get back in the saddle.

When she does, Jack will be waiting.

"We weren't going to push [their relationship]," Wechsler informed TVLine. "Jack's been hanging back, waiting for her to feel ready, but he's been into her this whole time. We're slowly getting there."

And by "slowly getting there," Wechsler means writers will start laying a possible foundation before season 4 comes to a close.

"In an episode we just shot, there are some larger strides made in that direction," Wechsler said, according to TV Line.

In the meantime, Emily still has Ben to deal with.
