Penny Dreadful will be packed with action and mystery this season.

On Jan. 16 producer Christopher King shared a photo teasing some "big action" scenes already in production on the show's set in Dublin.

That same day director James Hawes teased that he was prepping for a sequence which would run 21 minutes long and include over 100 extras, plus 11 of the primary cast members. This means that everyone on the show might just be all together in one scene for the first time ever.

While Hawes has yet to reveal the nature of the sequence, a photo posted by King on Jan. 17 suggests that the action will take place in Dorian Gray's (Reeve Carney) grand home during a rather elegant soirée.

As of Monday production was still taking place at Dorian's home, which suggests that much of this particular episode will take place there.

Perhaps Vanessa (Eva Green) and Dorian will reunite this season, or may be Dorian has already moved onto another in an attempt to heal the wounds of rejection. Only time will tell.

Penny Dreadful returns on Showtime for a second season in 2015.
